Aravind Eye Care Hospital runs an ongoing rural outreach program for detection of diabetic retinopathy. Over 400,000 patients have benefited from mobile screening. Aravind Eye Care was looking to conduct rural screening at scale without sending ophthalmologists into remote areas. Pellucid Consulting Group (PCG) working closely with Aravind, developed a teleophthalmology platform and deployed them in mobile screening vans, allowing the transmission of high quality DICOM images to ophthalmologists at urban hospitals.

Challenge

As their business grew from a TSP to Radiology Center Management, Clarity was dependent on multiple IT systems.
